This is where I’ll share cool learning moments I’ve observed in classrooms. One of my goals in this new position is “cross-pollination.” What I mean by that is, I want to help spread great learning moments and ideas, so that we can learn from each other. Often the magic is happening in real time, in separate rooms, so we miss opportunities to be inspired by each other. I want to help us share best practices and strong teaching moves. There is so much learning magic happening all the time!

Of course, I’ll also be highlighting where the HOMies are found, and where they could help. Calling out a cross-disciplinary skill (like finding a pattern, clearly explaining, or leaning into a growth mindset) — and naming the HOMie — can help make learning “sticky,” and more fun!
