Inspector Reflector
An Inspector Reflector is one who takes the time to look back at their own work or the work of peers in order to make it even stronger. They celebrate the iterative process of learning and creating, of revising one’s work and taking feedback with a genuine desire to improve.
You take time to quietly look at your work or yourself
Stepping back from your work and looking at it from a wider perspective helps you see things more clearly and decide what to do next and how to improve.
Micro Challenge: HOMies Self-Assessment
Fill out the HOMies Self-Assessment towards the beginning of your HOMies journey. Fill it out again after trying several or all of the HOMies in your practice. Where did you show the most growth?
You ask, “How can I make this even better?”
Instead of settling for what already can do you generate ideas to better solve the problem or convey the idea.
Micro Challenge: Review a previous Microchallenge
Look at something you completed in a previous challenge. What is your favorite part? What would you like to improve and why?
You revise and repeat
Each time you try an idea again you discover something new and different.
